Timing

Timing of intercourse to get pregnant?

You’re most likely to get pregnant if you have sex in the days around ovulation (when an egg is realised from ovary) , with the day before and after being the most fertile.

An egg lives about 12-24 hours after being released .The egg must be fertilised by a spern during this time for you to get pregnant.

Sperm can live for around 3 days inside a woman body, so if you’ve had sex in the few days before ovulation , the sperm can ‘wait’ for the egg to be released.

This is called your ‘fertile window’
